Statement on the Death of Rosalynn Carter<\/u><\/p>\n

Sullivan, MD, President Emeritus Morehouse School of Medicine And\u00a0 <\/em>Ginger Sullivan, former first lady, Morehouse School of Medicine<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cWe regret the passing of former First Lady of the United States Rosalynn Carter, who served the nation championing issues on mental health, homelessness and other issues.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 She was a perfect companion for former President Jimmy Carter, who supported the development of Morehouse School of Medicine when he was governor of Georgia and as U.S. president.<\/p>\n Rosalynn Carter was an outstanding example of integrity and ideals of service to her fellow citizens.<\/p>\n We extend our condolences to the Carter family.\u201d<\/p>\n \u2013Louis W.
